Portia Parrott and the Great Kitten Rescue
Moving is the pits. Moving without your dad is even worse. When seven-year-old Portia Parrott is sent to live with her mom, she worries the only thing she'll like about Florida is the alligators. It isn't fair. Dad gets to film a TV show in Australia, and she gets sticky air and Mom's drooly rat-dog, Barf. Being back with her mom is nice, but her new classmates think she's crazy! No one cares how many snakes she can name. Worse, they want her to do homework! But when she rescues a strange kitten and sneaks it into school, the adventure really begins.
Portia Parrott and the Replacement Dad
Portia is getting the hang of first grade. Her teacher doesn’t yell when she draws snakes on her math, her best friend Mason knows the best jokes, and she still can wow the class with reptile facts. But when Portia hears her class will have a Donuts with Dad Day, she starts to panic. Her dad is in Australia. He can’t make it back by Friday! Her search begins for a replacement dad and ends with a whole lot of fun!
Portia Parrott Meets the Stinkrays
Portia Parrott loves first grade! Especially when she learns her class is going on a field trip to the Ocean Research Center. Portia can’t wait. They have seastars, crawly dudes, and stinkrays. They even get to touch them! But when Portia arrives at the Ocean Research Center, she’s in for a surprise.
Her class is in big trouble. Portia Parrott to the rescue!
